A quick 30-minute meal that's very light but filling! A great way to eat all your vegetables.. You can substitute the shrimp with diced chicken cubes.

Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup white rice
  • 4 tablespoons shrimp
  • 100 grams brocolli chopped
  • 1 small carrot, sliced
  • 1/8 cup fresh green peas
  • 6 pinches salt
  • 500 milliliters water
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 medium red bell pepper

How To Make stir fried rice-shrimp-vegetables

  • Step 1
    Chop the vegetables;broccoli, red bell pepper,carrots and bring them to a boil over high temperature in about 5minutes *water level should just cover them
  • Step 2
    Cook the rice at this point for the next 15-20 minutes
  • Step 3
    Remove and drain the vegetables
  • Step 4
    To a non-stick pan, add the cooking oil Proceed to add the garlic and onions until they are near browning
  • Step 5
    Add the vegetables, stir fry them for about 3minutes Add the shrimp, stir fry until the stock dries
  • Step 6
    Add your rice Turn down the heat to lowest setting and then stir until it's evenly distributed
