spinach-bacon quiche

I hsve to admit that Ihsven't made this pareicular quiche, but I like quiche a lot, and when I received this recipe in a "recipe-of-the-day" email from My Daily Moments.com, it looked and sounded so good, I decided to share the recipe with my just A Pinch friends. Ingredients

  • 1-10oz. package frozen chopped spinach thawed
  • 4 large eggs lightky beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1-1.8oz package leek soup mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 10 slices bacon cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • /1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1-9" - unbaked frozen deep dish pastry shell

How To Make spinach-bacon quiche

  • Step 1
    Prepare pastry shell according to package directions
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees Drain soinach well, pressing between papoer towels
  • Step 3
    Whisk eggs and next 4 ingredients Stir in spinach, bacon, & cheeses reserve 1/2 cup of bacon bits for top pour egg mixture into pastry shell and place the pastry shell on a baking sheet sprinkle reserved bacon bits over top of prepared quiche. Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes. Allow baked quiche to set up for 5 minutes before cutting & serving. Enjoy for breakfast lunch or brunch. (6:50pmEDT 5/15/13)
