  • 1 c
    bread crumbs, dry
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 lb
    sea scallops
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 c
    white wine
  • 4 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 2 tsp
    minced fresh parsley
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced

How to Make skillet sea scallops


  1. in a large reasonable plastic bag, combine bread crumbs and salt. add scallops, a few at a time, and snake to coat.
  2. in a extra large skillet ovger medium-high heat, brown scallops in butter and oil for 2 minutes on each side or until firm and opaque. remove and keep warm. add the wine, lime juice, parsley and garlic to the skillet; bring to a boil. pour over skallops. serve
