How To Make shroomy q burgers
-
Step 1First, start by removing stems from mushroom caps. Wipe the mushroom with a damp paper or cloth towel. Brush the olive oil over top and bottom of caps. Sprinkle desired amount of salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. I like to grill my caps on the outdoor grill, but an oven works well to(broiler) Cook on each side for about 5-6 minutes. I brush bbq sauce on 1 side, and top with the cheese. I find provolone works best for me, because it is a smokier cheese and goes well with the bbq sauce. I carefully place the 'burger' onto my kaiser roll and top with the normal burger fixins! This is a much healthier version of a bbq burger! Even my picky kid loves this one :) Hope you enjoy it!
