WELL THIS COMES FROM THE FROM THE LUTHERAN SENIOR SERVICES WHERE I WORK AT.I HOPE THAT YOU LIKE THIS RECIPE IT IS FOR 50 PPL,BUT YOU CAN CUT IT DOWN TO YOUR FAMILY SIZE OR JUST LEAVE IT THE WAY IT IS .... ENJOY!!!!!

Ingredients

    18 lbs. 18-22 shrimp,peeled and deveined
  • ·
    1 tbsp. salt
  • ·
    1 tbsp. pepper
  • ·
    1 tbsp.cayeene pepper
  • ·
    6 cups olive oil
  • ·
    6 cups parsley,minced
  • ·
    20 cloves of garlic,minced
  • ·
    25 green onions,chopped
  • ·
    2 tbsp. oregano
  • ·
    1 1/2 cups white wine

How to Make SHRIMP SCAMPI

Step-by-Step

  1. Add olive oil to a large skillet or tilt skillet. Add the garlic and cook for 2 mins.Remove so it does not burn. Saute shrimp in olive oil for 5 mins over high heat until lightly pink.
  2. Add back the cooked garlic, shallots,parsley oregano to olive oil and shrimp. Saute over medium heat for 3 mins, stirring the entire.Add wine and cook for 5 more mins.Serve over angel hair pasta...
  3. Reheating** Remove from fridge. Heat for 20 mins. or until internal temperature reaches 165*
