Quick and Easy..this is a good casserole for any time of the year. Handed down from my stepmother..

Ingredients For shrimp almondine casserole

  • Two c
    uncooked rice
  • Lb pkg
    shrimp, frozen. cleaned.tails off
  • One can
    cream of shrimp soup
  • One c
    slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c
    half and half
  • 1/3 c
    lime juice
  • Dashes
    salt and pepper

How To Make shrimp almondine casserole

  • 1
    Boil uncooked brown or white rice. Brown slivered almonds in butter. Butter a 9x11 glass casserole dish

    When rice is finished cooking, place it in a large glass mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup of browned almonds, set rest aside. Add rest of ingredients. Stir gently. Spread evenly in casserole dish.

    Take the browned almonds and sprinkle atop. Sprinkle paprika on top. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
