Quick and Easy..this is a good casserole for any time of the year. Handed down from my stepmother..

Ingredients

  • Two cup uncooked rice
  • Lb package shrimp, frozen. cleaned.tails off
  • One can cream of shrimp soup
  • One cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • Dashes - salt and pepper

How To Make shrimp almondine casserole

  • Step 1
    Boil uncooked brown or white rice. Brown slivered almonds in butter. Butter a 9x11 glass casserole dish
  • Step 2
    When rice is finished cooking, place it in a large glass mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup of browned almonds, set rest aside. Add rest of ingredients. Stir gently. Spread evenly in casserole dish.
  • Step 3
    Take the browned almonds and sprinkle atop. Sprinkle paprika on top. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
