Ingredients
- 1 package (10 oz ) frozen lima beans
- 3 cans ( 19 oz ) baked beans (6 cups )
- 3 cans (15 oz ) kifney beans drained
- 1 pound italian sausage or pork link
- 1/2 pound smoked ham , cut into 1/2
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1 clove (8 oz ) tomato ssuce
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper
How To Make sausage bean casserole

Step 1heat oven to 400 degreese. cook lima bean as directed, and drain . put into a 4 1/2 quart casserole dish, add baked beans and kidney beans.

Step 2in a covered skillet simmer sausage in small amount of water for 5 minutes. drain liquid, then panfry sausage until brown on all sides. do not prick the sausage.

Step 3cut each sausage into 3 pieces, add with ham to the beans. stir in remaining ingredients. bake uncovered for one (1) hour

Step 4for a soup like consistensy, mix all ingredients as above and cook in a slow cooked for at least 4 hours.
