quinoa & chick peas

My mom gave me a big bag of quinoa in January, I just started to tackle it. I saved several recipes from fellow cooks here. I concocted this the other night, I think it is a very basic & flexible recipe, kind of a what do I have in the house or what do I feel like throwing in kind of thing :) Have fun & enjoy! My next one will be with small red beans & onions.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quinoa, dry
- 1 cup water or broth
- 3 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can chick peas, drained
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
How To Make quinoa & chick peas

Step 1Bring water or broth to a boil, add quinoa and garlic. Lower to a simmer, cook for about 25 minutes until quinoa is nice & fluffy.

Step 2Add chick peas and olive oil, mix & serve.
