    kielbasa; italian sausage; or ground beef

    cabbage head (green or purple)

    tomatoes, canned and cut up

How to Make Phlum


  1. Cut cabbage, celery and onions into slices.
    Cut kielbasa into bite size pieces. Peel and slice potatoes.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter (about 1/4 cup) and saute celery and onion until transparent. Add potatoes and still occasionally until potatoes are soft. They should have a nice "crust" on them, but not burnt.
  3. Add cabbage and kielbasa and continue to cook on low heat, add another 1/4 butter. Cover and cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until cabbage is soft and transparent. Add tomatoes at the last and heat through. Serves 6-8.
