Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups small, peeled and deveined raw shrimp
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped bell pepper
- 4 tablespoons bacon grease
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
- 1 teaspoon worcestershite sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
How To Make pattycake's shrimp gravy for shrimp and grits

Step 1In skillet, fry onions and peppers in bacon grease. When onion is golden, add shirmp and stir around several times.

Step 2Add about 3/4 cup of water. Simmer 2-3 minutes and thicken with the cornstarch and a little water made into a paste.

Step 3Add seasonings, Worcestershite sauce and ketchup. Cook slowly til thickened. Serve over creamy grits.
