This is my second entry in the Mother's Day sandwich challenge, I had to do two cause I couldn't decide which one I liked better. M - Mango Compote O - onion T - tomato H - Horseradish E - Egg R - Roast Beef S - Sharp Cheddar D - Dill Pickle A - Artisan Bread Y - yellow pepper

Ingredients

  • - m - mango compote (1 med mango, 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 c water))
  • - o - onion, sliced thinly
  • - t - tomato, sliced
  • - h - horseradish, creamy style
  • - e - egg, boiled and sliced
  • - r - roast beef, deli sliced
  • - s - sharp cheddar
  • - @--->----------
  • - d - dill pickle
  • - a - artisan bread, sliced lengthwise
  • - y - yellow pepper, sliced

How To Make mother's day beef and mango compote sammy

  • Step 1
    place mango, water and sugar in sauce pan and reduce until thickened enough to spread
  • Step 2
    slather mango compote on both sides of the bread.
  • Step 3
    place cheese slices on one half and roast beef on the other half, spread horseradish onto roast beef.
  • Step 4
    then layer the rest of the ingredients equally across the middle, flip top onto bottom, cut into as many servings as desired.
