Ingredients For monte cristo club sandwich w/jalapeno slivers

  • 1
    jalapeno peppers
  • 4 slice
    baby swiss cheese
  • 4 slice
    honey ham
  • 4 slice
    turkey
  • 3
    egg
  • 4 slice
    bread, whole wheat
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    sour cream

How To Make monte cristo club sandwich w/jalapeno slivers

    Preheat a non stick frying pan to medium high heat. Cut Jalapeno into slivers. Set aside.

    In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, milk, and eggs and blend until smooth. add a few dashes of salt and pepper.

    ONLY DUNK ONE SIDE OF THE BREAD!!! First toss a few Jalapeno slivers in the pan.. Then, Take one slice of bread and gently submerge just one side of the bread in the egg mix. set the bread face down with the unsoaked side up. Egg wash side on hot pan. do the second piece of bread and place in the pan.

    Place Ham, Turkey and Cheese on the 2 slices of bread in the pan.

    Next, submerge only one half of the second slice of each sandwich and place eggwash side up! Dry side down on meat and cheese.

    cook appx 3 minutes each side. Cut in half and serve. (For a dipping sauce, you can use 1/4 cup Mayonaisse and 2 tsp of mustard mix together and dip!! DELISH!!!)
