Because dogs can't eat onions, there are none in these - they're my dog Little Frankie's favorite treats to share with his family, :) Can also be cooked in a skillet drizzled w/oil...spice them up w/hot pepper flakes, jerk seasoning, Meditteranean salt mix - just try them first w/the walnut oil, it does make a diff.

Ingredients
- 2 cups lentils, cooked
- 1 cup portabello mushrooms, minced
- 1 cup bulgur wheat, uncooked
- 2 - garlic cloves, roasted and pureed
- 1 cup bread crumbs, whole wheat
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons walnut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon tarragon, fresh minced
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
How To Make little frankie's veggie burgers

Step 1Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let it burn down to embers.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, mash lentils until smooth.

Step 3Add all other ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined; refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Step 4Form into burgers; brush the burgers with olive oil and grill for 6 minutes on each side or until done.

Step 5Serve hot with your favorite condiments.
