Ingredients

  • 2 cups lentils, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 - onion, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • - whole wheat flour for coating
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

How To Make lentil burgers

  • Step 1
    Mash the lentils slightly.
  • Step 2
    Add the bread crumbs, wheat germ, salt, onion, and celery seeds.
  • Step 3
    Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Form the mixture into 8 patties.
  • Step 5
    Coat with flour.
  • Step 6
    Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the patties on both sides until browned.
