These delicious crab cakes are a favorite for the seafood lovers in our family ! I have enjoyed making and eating them for many years !!!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat
  • 3/4 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs (or plain if you prefer
  • 1/4--1/2 cup miracle whip salad dressing (or regular mayo if you prefer )
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard ( or dijon )
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon baking power (if baking in oven)
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
  • dash cooking oil spray

How To Make jumbo lump crab cakes

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients except the crab in a bowl. Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly. Shape into 6 cakes.
  • Step 2
    Place the cakes on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Spray with a small amount of cooking oil. Bake at 375' for 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    The crabcakes can be fried if you prefer. Enjoy !!
