These delicious crab cakes are a favorite for the seafood lovers in our family ! I have enjoyed making and eating them for many years !!!

  • 1 lb
    jumbo lump crabmeat
  • 3/4 c
    italian seasoned breadcrumbs (or plain if you prefer
  • 1/4--1/2 c
    miracle whip salad dressing (or regular mayo if you prefer )
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard ( or dijon )
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 tsp
    baking power (if baking in oven)
  • 2
  • 1 tsp
    worchestershire sauce
  • dash(es)
    cooking oil spray

How to Make Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes


  1. Mix all ingredients except the crab in a bowl.

    Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly.

    Shape into 6 cakes.
  2. Place the cakes on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
    Spray with a small amount of cooking oil.

    Bake at 375' for 30 minutes.
  3. The crabcakes can be fried if you prefer.
