My family has enjoyed this recipe for many years.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 medium green onion, cut up
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup frozen carrots
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 slice ham, cut in medium size pieces
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy suce, kikkoman low sodium
  • 1/2 package fried rice seasoning mix (sun bird brand)

How To Make jeans fried rice

  • Step 1
    Cook rice in Rice Cooker. For quick method use Minute Rice.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile take the peas and carrots out of the freezer. Take ham and cut up. Cut up green onion.
  • Step 3
    Use large skillet. Add olive oil. Saute green onion. Add Rice and cook on medium/low for 5 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add peas, carrots and ham. Saute for 2 - 4 minutes more. Meanwhile stir to combine.
  • Step 5
    Break egg in cup. Whip. Move rice mixture to sides of pan. Scramble egg in middle of pan.
  • Step 6
    After egg is fairly well cooked, combine egg into rice mixture.
  • Step 7
    Sprinkle seasoning mix and Add soy sauce. Combine. Cook for about 5 minutes more. Enjoy!!
