fried potato salmon patties
I grew up on fried potato patties and salmon patties and I fix those all the time. One day I decided to combine the two and this recipe is the end result. Absolutely delicious, the whole family loved them.

Ingredients
- 1 cup leftover, seasoned mashed potatoes
- 5 ounces can skinless, boneless salmon, drained
- 1 large egg
- 2 - green onions, chopped
- - 1/4 c. + 1 t. all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup shredded colby jack cheese
- - veg. oil for frying
How To Make fried potato salmon patties

Step 1Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Heat about 1/4" of oil in a skillet. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls and slightly flatten out. Cook till golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on a paper sack or paper towel lined plate. Approx. 14-16 patties.
