Ingredients
- 1 package saltine crackers; inner package, square/sleeve
- 1 can mushroom pieces
- 2 - eggs
- 1 can campbell's cr of mushroom soup
- - splash of milk
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick butter
How To Make faux morels

Step 1Crush the crackers, using either a food processor or a rolling pin.....you don't want them super fine

Step 2gently whisk the eggs, just a stir really. add the eggs, mushroom pieces, cr of mushroom soup to the crackers and stir. add milk if needed, you don't want this too soupy, drier is better

Step 3melt the butter in the skillet, hot, but not smoking

Step 4drop by tablespoon fulls into hot oil brown on both sides until golden, drain on paper towel. These will even somewhat resemble mushrooms...enjoy
