Ingredients For faux morels

1 pkgsaltine crackers; inner package, square/sleeve

1 canmushroom pieces

2eggs
-
1 cancampbell's cr of mushroom soup

splash of milk

salt and pepper to taste

1 stickbutter
How To Make faux morels

1Crush the crackers, using either a food processor or a rolling pin.....you don't want them super fine

2gently whisk the eggs, just a stir really. add the eggs, mushroom pieces, cr of mushroom soup to the crackers and stir. add milk if needed, you don't want this too soupy, drier is better

3melt the butter in the skillet, hot, but not smoking

4drop by tablespoon fulls into hot oil brown on both sides until golden, drain on paper towel. These will even somewhat resemble mushrooms...enjoy
