You can actually use any veggie you like,I mix it up alot,but this one is my favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium gr.pepper
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 1 medium yellow pepper
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 2 packages swiss cheese
  • 1 package (2) pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup half&half
  • 2 dashes salt
  • 2 dashes pepper

How To Make connie's quiche

  • Step 1
    Lay both pie shells out to become room temperature
  • Step 2
    Mix 4 eggs,1 cup heavy whipping cream,and 1 cup half&half,sit aside
  • Step 3
    Chop all veggies,in small pieces,sit aside
  • Step 4
    Putting together.......get two deep dish pie plates,and put your dough into them,use a fork,punch some holes in bottom of pie shells.(you can cook pie shells before filling,but for me,it gets to brown,so i don't bake before cooking everything).Make your pie shells pretty on the edges,add chopped veggies,the liquid mixture(just over veggies),add swiss cheese.Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
