Ingredients
- 3 cans pinto beans
- 3 cans red kidney beans
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 medium green pepper
- 2 packages mild chili seasoning
- 1 pound extra lean hamburger
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
How To Make chocolate chili

Step 1In a large crock pot combine 1 chili seasoning packet,3 cans pinto beans ,3 cans red kidney beans and 2 cans stewed tomatoes. Then in a skillet pour about 2 Tblsps.extra virgin olive oil and 1 chili seasoning packet and chop up green pepper and saute then brown the extra lean hamburger and add to crock pot making sure it is on the high setting after an hour add the tblsp. of cocoa to the chili this will bring out the chili powder in the seasoning and if you like your chili a little hotter add 1 tsp. hot sauce at the end. We usually serve this with shredded cheddar and sour cream and cornbread or taco chips. Enjoy!
