My nana used to make these once a week and there was not one left and she doubled it.

Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage
- 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey/chicken
- 1 - onion peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup rice (uncooked)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 - egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 - tin 28 oz. tomatoes
How To Make cabbage rolls

Step 1Remove core from cabbage and set into boiling water for 15 minutes to loosens leaves.

Step 2Mix together meat, onion, rice, water, egg and sugar. Mix well.

Step 3Remove leaves from cabbage. Put meat mixture in center of each leaf. Roll up and secure with a toothpick.

Step 4Put into a large pan and cover with tomatoes and lemon juice.

Step 5Simmer for 2 hours adding more tomato juice or tomatoes if needed. Cook at 350
