How to Make Cabbage Rolls
- 1Remove core from cabbage and set into boiling water for 15 minutes to loosens leaves.
- 2Mix together meat, onion, rice, water, egg and sugar. Mix well.
- 3Remove leaves from cabbage. Put meat mixture in center of each leaf. Roll up and secure with a toothpick.
- 4Put into a large pan and cover with tomatoes and lemon juice.
- 5Simmer for 2 hours adding more tomato juice or tomatoes if needed. Cook at 350
