How To Make cabbage bonanza!
-
Step 1The beauty of this dish is you get a big pot, and cut everything up into bite sizes. If you have a picky eater cut what they don't like into tiny pieces. You can put any thing into this dish, left over veggies that you don't know what to do with, throw them in. Cucumbers, squash, zuccini, anything! The secret of the dish is the Sausage, this is what flavors everything and why my family likes it!
-
Step 2Start w/ the cabbage, cut and simmer in 1 inch of water with your seasonings (any seasonings you like and to your taste) ** Don't add too much salt yet because the tomatoes & sausage have salt in them!**
-
Step 3As your cabbage is simmering cut the other veggies & add to pot.
-
Step 4Add your canned tomatoes w/ juices.
-
Step 5Cut up and add your sausage.
-
Step 6simmer everything for about 20-30 min.
-
Step 7Taste your creation to decide if it needs more salt or any other seasoning of choice.
-
Step 8We like to enjoy this with a nice bakery loaf of bread. you could serve over rice or pasta too.
