butter meat
We call it butter meat because it melts like butter in your mouth! I have also added cream of mushroom soup for a variation. A friend added milk...she said it was awesome...so...roll with it how you like, but we LOVE it!!

Ingredients
- 1 pound venison tenderloin
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 cans 8oz tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - cooked rice (to pour "butter meat" over)
How To Make butter meat

Step 1Thaw deer tenderloin, rinse and put in crock pot.

Step 2Add onion soup mix, tomato sauce, water and stir.

Step 3Add potatoes, salt and pepper.

Step 4Place lid on crock pot,cook on low all day or high 4 hours or so.

Step 5Cook rice and spoon "Butter Meat" over rice. Serve with green salad and buttery biscuits.
