This is a very simple and tasty recipe from the great folks at the Kroger Company, from their website. This can be thrown together literally in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (10 oz.) diced tomatoes & green chilies, undrained
  • 1 cup frozen sweet corn
  • 1/4 cup original barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

How To Make black bean pasta bowl

  • Step 1
    Cook macaroni as directed on package. Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients except cheese in a large saucepan. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Cook on medium heat for 8 to 9 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    Stir cooked macaroni into bean mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step 4
    NOTE: If you really like cheese, you can add more; can also use sharp instead of mild.
