These burgers are so yummy and packed with lots of fiber! I add extra chopped garlic but it can be adjusted to taste.

Ingredients
- 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes, drained
- 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coursely ground pepper
- 1 small onion, chopped or 2 green onions, chopped
- 2/3 cup chopped carrots
- 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
How To Make black bean oatmeal burgers

Step 1Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush lightly with oil.

Step 2Process the first 8 ingredients until blended. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the oats.

Step 3Form into 8 patties and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 min until firm to the touch. Carefully turn patties over with a wide spatula and place under the broiler for 1-2 min until browned.
