1Grease a large, rimmed baking sheet. Preheat oven to 375
2Heat skillet over medium -high heat; add oil, celery and onion. Stir 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute 1 minute longer.
3Pour beans into a bowl and mash into a thick paste. Add celery mixture, egg, cumin and almond meal. Season with salt and pepper. Form into smallish burger patties; place on baking sheet and bake until firm and set, about 10 minutes on EACH side - do NOT turn until burger are set on the bottom and firming.
