Ingredients

1 to 2 cbasamati rice

15 oz can(s)cuban black beans (tjs) undrained

15 oz can(s)corn drained
-
8 oz can(s)diced green chiles undrained
-
3 to 4andouille sausages (chicken)
-
·cajun seasoning and tabasco to taste
-
·shredded pepper jack cheese
-
·chopped fresh cilantro
How to Make Bayou Biryani
- Cook rice in rice cooker or according to directions.
- Mix black beans, drained corn and green chilies together in small dish, microwave about 2 minutes unil hot. Slice sausage, cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Put bean misture on top of rice, top with sausage, cheese and cilantro. Add cajun seasoning and hot sauce to taste.
