My daughter-in-law createdd this tasty dish based on a time intensive dish her mother makes. This is quick and tastes great.

Ingredients For bayou biryani

1 to 2 cbasamati rice

15 oz cancuban black beans (tjs) undrained

15 oz cancorn drained

8 oz candiced green chiles undrained

3 to 4andouille sausages (chicken)

cajun seasoning and tabasco to taste

shredded pepper jack cheese
-
chopped fresh cilantro
How To Make bayou biryani

1Cook rice in rice cooker or according to directions.

2Mix black beans, drained corn and green chilies together in small dish, microwave about 2 minutes unil hot. Slice sausage, cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

3Put bean misture on top of rice, top with sausage, cheese and cilantro. Add cajun seasoning and hot sauce to taste.
