WHEN I WAS A YOUNG BRIDE (35+ YEARS AGO) SOME FRIENDS DROPED BY , AND STAYING LONGER THAN EXPECTED I NEEDED A QUICK MEAL. Not having much on hand I CAME UP WITH THIS SIMPLE DISH . It was a hit with everyone. Over the years I have made it for pot lucks and family dinners, I never have left overs.

Ingredients

  • 1 - pkg. bun size polish sausage
  • 1 - red or yellow onion sliced into strips.
  • 1 - large green peppers thinley slced into strips.
  • 1 - (18 oz ) jar b.b.q. sauce ( your choice of flavors)
  • 1 - pakage hot dog buns

How To Make b.b.q. polish sausage.

  • Step 1
    place polish sausage in a baking dish, add onions, peppers on top of sausage, add b.b.q. sauce over all.
  • Step 2
    place foil over dish to cover pan, place in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    take out of over let stand 5 minutes, place on hot dog buns and enjoy.
