avacado and sprout sandwich

Found this recipe in a magazine but can't remember which one. The recipe was tweeked to match my tastes and what I could easily find in the grocery store. I made these sandwiches for a recent baby shower and they were a hit. The red pepper jellly gives it just a little kick and the cream cheese cools it down:) Easy to assemble! Enjoy!

Ingredients For avacado and sprout sandwich

  • 3 Tbsp
    red pepper jelly
  • 8
    slices of your favorite bread
  • 8 slice
    provolone cheese
  • 1
    large avacado, sliced into thin slices
  • 1/2 c
    bean sprouts, i used drained canned sprouts
  • 4 Tbsp
    cream cheese, softened
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

How To Make avacado and sprout sandwich

    Thinly spread pepper jelly on 1 side of 4 bread slices.

    Layer each cheese, avocado and bean sprouts.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Spread cream cheese on 1 side of remaining bread slices. For tea sandwiches, cut off bread crust first.

    Place on plate cheese side down.
