How to Make Tamale Pie
- Fry slices of bacon until crisp and set aside.
- Pour off some of the grease and saute bell pepper and onion.
- Cut up a can of tamales and place in a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Crumble bacon in a can of cream style corn, mix with sauteed bell pepper-onion mixture, and pour over tamales.
- Grate cheese over the top. Bake in hot 400-450° oven until heated through and cheese is melted.
