This was an easy and popular dish when our kids were growing up. Served with picante sauce alongside a pot of beans it's always been well received by teenagers and adults alike. The amount of tortilla chips and cheese can be adjusted to individual tastes. We like a pretty thick layer of each!

Ingredients
- 1 med pkg - salted corn tortilla chips
- 2 pounds lean hamburger
- 1/2 - onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 can - cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz)
- 1 can - cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz)
- 1 can - mild enchilada sauce (10 oz)
- 1 can - chopped green chiles (4 oz)
- 1 cup - milk
- 3 cups - cheddar cheese, grated

Step 1Line 9x13 baking pan with Doritos, pressing down to flatten slightly.

Step 2Brown hamburger in skillet along with onion and garlic. Mix in soups, sauce, chilies, and milk. Pour or spoon meat mixture over chips in dish. Cover with cheese.

Step 3Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until cheese browns slightly.
