16 oz can(s)red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/2onion, small and coarsely chopped
1carrot, steamed and mashed
5/8 cpicante sauce
1 cbread crumbs
1 tspblack pepper
1/2 tspchili powder
How to Make Spicy Mexican Bean Burger
- Mix all ingredients together. Add more flour to create a firmer mixture, or more salsa if mixture is too stiff.
- Form into balls and smash into patties. Bake at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until firm, brown and done.
- Serve on whole wheat bun with lettuce, tomato and salsa.
