Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 - onion
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper
- 1 - tomato
- 1 - green chiles
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 cup cilantro, fresh
How To Make spanish rice

Step 1Prepare and arrange ingredients before cooking. Dice Onion, Tomato, Peppers, and Chile. Measure and organize all ingredients.

Step 2Heat oil in a large skillet over Medium-High heat. Add rice and begin to sautee. After a few minutes, begin adding onions, bell peppers and chile. Cook until rice is brown and onions are tender.

Step 3Stir in water and tomatoes, season with chile powder, salt and pepper.

Step 4Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed. Add Cilantro. Stir and let stand about 8-10 minutes to setup.
