Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground buffalo
  • 2 ounces smoked cheddar diced into small pieces
  • 1 can diced green chiles
  • 1/4 cup red onion diced very small
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper coarse ground
  • 9 slices avocado
  • 3 slices sweet onion
  • 6 slices tomato
  • 6 - baby lettuce leaves
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish mustard
  • 3 - cibatta rolls

How To Make smoked cheddar & chili bison burger

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together cover with plastic wrap and set aside
  • Step 2
    turn on broiler.
  • Step 3
    make 3 patties out of buffalo mixture and place on broiler pan
  • Step 4
    cook each side of the patties 6-8 minutes or until desired doneness.
  • Step 5
    Cut buns in half and toast.
  • Step 6
    spread mustard on buns, place burger on bun, dress burger as you please. I use avocado, tomatoes, onion, and lettuce
