  • 1 lb
    ground buffalo
  • 2 oz
    smoked cheddar diced into small pieces
  • 1 can(s)
    diced green chiles
  • 1/4 c
    red onion diced very small
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper coarse ground
  • 9 slice
  • 3 slice
    sweet onion
  • 6 slice
  • 6
    baby lettuce leaves
  • 1 Tbsp
    horseradish mustard
  • 3
    cibatta rolls

How to Make Smoked Cheddar & Chili Bison Burger


  1. Mix all ingredients together cover with plastic wrap and set aside
  2. turn on broiler.
  3. make 3 patties out of buffalo mixture and place on broiler pan
  4. cook each side of the patties 6-8 minutes or until desired doneness.
  5. Cut buns in half and toast.
  6. spread mustard on buns, place burger on bun, dress burger as you please. I use avocado, tomatoes, onion, and lettuce
