sassy taco soup
We usually have soup on Saturdays when we have our Bible Study. I was trying to think of a different soup to make than the usual, so I threw this together with what I had on hand. It turned out delicious! Great freezer recipe!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 4 cups water
- 2 packages pictsweet brand frozen, southwest vegetables with corn & black beans & authentic mexican seasoning
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 package ranch dressing mix, dry
- 1 can (14 oz.) diced tomatoes (can use fire roasted with garlic)
- 1 jar (lg jar) salsa, medium (can use hot if you like it really spicy)
- - adobo powder (garlic powder)
- 1 - bag tortilla chips
- 1 package shredded sharp cheddar cheese
How To Make sassy taco soup

Step 1Brown the beef with the Adobo seasoning. Drain well. Add to large soup pot.

Step 2Add the water, veggies, tomatoes, salsa, and the taco & ranch seasoning mixes. Bring to a boil, then simmer on LOW for about an hour, or until cooked down a bit.

Step 3Serve in bowls with shredded cheese on top and tortilla chips on the side.

Step 4*** Freezes well! We had 1/2 the recipe, and I froze the rest for another meal.
