Ingredients
- 1 package frozen sweet corn (14-16 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 large white onion, chopped fine
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 cups tomato juice (or tomato puree)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- pinch salt & pepper to taste
- pinch ground cumin
- 1 small can pikled sliced jalapenos, drained
How To Make tex-mex corn (sallye)

Step 1Preheat oven to 350º butter 9x13 baking dish and set aside

Step 2In heavy skillet, saute onion in cooking oil over medium high heat until golden yellow

Step 3In large mixing bowl, combine corn and all other ingredients, including sauteed onions. Mix well

Step 4Transfer mixture to buttered baking dish Bake at 350º for 30-45 minutes
