  • BREAD MACHINE PIZZA DOUGH

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c
    flax seed
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 c
    warm water
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    powdered milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    dry active yeast
  • TOPPINGS

  • ·
    **thai chile paste
  • ·
    **fresh peppers, jalapeno, hungarian wax, red and orange mini bells
  • ·
    **red onion
  • ·
    **fresh cilantro
  • ·
    **asadero cheese, shredded

How to Make Rainbow Pepper Pizza

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together flours, flax seed, sugar, powdered milk and salt. Place water and oil in bread machine pan and add flour mixture to pan. Make a small indention in flour and place yeast in. Put bread machine on DOUGH only cycle.
  2. When dough has risen, slice peppers into rings, chop onion and cilantro.
  3. This dough will make 3 med size pizzas. Spread dough out on baking sheet, pizza pan or in cast iron skillet.
  4. Spread Thai chile paste on dough. Top with cheese, then peppers and onion. Bake 425° for approx. 30 min. on middle rack of oven.
  5. Once removed and slightly cooled sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
