plain old fish tacos

I didn't think I would like a fish taco until ----- I tried these. Simple and simply GREAT !!

Ingredients

  • 6 small one inch wide plain fish fillets (cod,mahi mahi,halibut)
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes,diced
  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 1 large lemon,cut in wedges
  • 6 medium flour or corn tortillas

How To Make plain old fish tacos

  • Step 1
    Place lettuce into a bowl and squeeze the lemon wedges over the lettuce.
  • Step 2
    Pan-fry the filets until golden, seasoning with salt and pepper only.
  • Step 3
    Heat the tortillas and then place one fillet into each.
  • Step 4
    Stuff the tortillas with shredded lettuce, feta cheese and diced tomatoes.
  • Step 5
    Squeeze the remaining lemon juice over each tortilla.
