  • 4 pkg
    martha white yellow cornbread mix
  • 8 oz
    grated cheese
  • 1/2 c
    diced sweet onion
  • 4 slice
    pickled jalepenos cut up
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground hamburger meat
  • 1 can(s)
    creamy style corn (add 1 tb sugar)

How to Make Mexican Cornbread


  1. Prepare cornbread according to directions on pkg set aside
  2. brown hamburger and drain set aside
  3. pour half of cornbread in skillet then top with cheese, canned creamy corn(add a litle sugar to this), onions, diced jalepenos,lastly layer the hamburger meat then top with remaining cornbread
  4. Bake 450 degrees 45 or until a knive inserted in center comes out pretty clean
