We love spicy, and we love Mexican and this is both of those.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1/2 pound ground sirloin
  • 6 ounces pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa, your choice how hot
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 to 3 medium jalepenos, seeds removed or not, and diced
  • 3 medium scallions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • - toppings:
  • - pickled jalepenos
  • - sliced tomatoes, onions
  • - lettuce leaves
  • - salsa
  • 12 tablespoons mayo, optional

How To Make jalepeno burgers

  • Step 1
    Grate 2 oz of pepper jack cheese to go into burger, slice the remainder into 6 slices to melt on the burger.
  • Step 2
    Mix all burger ingredients together.
  • Step 3
    Grill til done to your liking.
  • Step 4
    last 5 minutes of cooking, toast buns, put a slice of cheese on each burger, and let melt.
  • Step 5
    Spread with 2 tablespoons mayo on each bun, and toppings of your choice.
