this new turkey loaf recipe i created,is a style of buffalo wings,it filled with blue cheese and sauteed onions with ranch dressing,it's great on sandwiches?

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 1
    vidalia sweet onion,peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 c
    ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 c
    crumbled blue cheese,divided
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 2
    egg whites
  • 1/2 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1 c
    wing sauce,divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese

How to Make Buffalo Turkey Loaf?

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat,add sliced red onion,saute for 5 minutes until are tender.Remove from heat,stir in ranch dressing and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.Add 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese.
  3. In a large bowl,combine ground turkey,egg whites,bread crumbs,poultry seasoning,1/2 cup wing sauce,dijon mustard,sauteed onion mixture,remaining blue cheese and monterey jack cheese,mix well.
  4. Transfer into a prepared loaf pan.Cover with aluminum foil.Bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and remove the foil,spread with remaining wing sauce.
  6. Return to the oven,continue bake for 15 minutes;uncovered.
  7. Let stand for 8 minutes before slicing.
