My neighbor gave me a few pounds of venison, so I wanted to create something new.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound deer burger (ground venison)
  • 1 cup oatmeal (see option below)
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 3 - eggs, raw
  • 1 cup fresh kale, chopped
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

How To Make deer burger meatloaf

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except pizza sauce.
  • Step 2
    Press firmly into a bread pan or meatloaf pan.
  • Step 3
    Top with pizza sauce.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Optional: You can add ground flax meal to this recipe. Use 1/4 cup and then only 3/4 c oatmeal. You can also include 1/2 cup shredded cheese into step one for extra melted goodness.
