Ingredients

    cold turkey cubed
  • 4 small
    onions chopped
  • 1
    leek chopped
  • 1
    carrot chopped
  • 1
    rutagbaga or turnip chopped
  • 4 small
    potatoes chopped
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c
    stock
  • 1 c
    gravy
  • 2
    pie crusts homemade or refrigerated
  • HOT WATER PASTRY CRUST

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    buttermilk or whole milk
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 4 Tbsp
    lard(crisco)
  • 3/4 c
    boiling water

How to Make Twrci Mewn Blanced(turkey pie)

Step-by-Step

  1. line a pie dish with a warm pastry pie crust(recipe included)
  2. Placed diced turkey, onion and the other vegetables cut up small in the crust with salt and pepper with stoick and gravy.
  3. Seal the pie with the top crust. Brush with beaten egg and bake i n moderate oven 350*F until browned and vegetables are cooked about 1 hour.
  4. HOT WATER PASTRY CRUST
  5. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS IN FOOD PROCESSOR OR STAND MIXER UNTIL IT RESEMBLES CORASE MEAL
  6. Slowly add water to the dough and continue mixing until you have a smooth dough
  7. Roll out and make two crusts.
