Ingredients

1 lb
cold turkey cubed

onions chopped

leek chopped

rutagbaga or turnip chopped

potatoes chopped
salt and pepper
1/2 c
stock
1 c
gravy

pie crusts homemade or refrigerated

HOT WATER PASTRY CRUST

2 c
flour
3/4 c
buttermilk or whole milk
1 pinch
salt
4 Tbsp
lard(crisco)
3/4 c
boiling water

How to Make Twrci Mewn Blanced(turkey pie)

Step-by-Step

  • 1line a pie dish with a warm pastry pie crust(recipe included)
  • 2Placed diced turkey, onion and the other vegetables cut up small in the crust with salt and pepper with stoick and gravy.
  • 3Seal the pie with the top crust. Brush with beaten egg and bake i n moderate oven 350*F until browned and vegetables are cooked about 1 hour.
  • 4HOT WATER PASTRY CRUST
  • 5MIX ALL INGREDIENTS IN FOOD PROCESSOR OR STAND MIXER UNTIL IT RESEMBLES CORASE MEAL
  • 6Slowly add water to the dough and continue mixing until you have a smooth dough
  • 7Roll out and make two crusts.
