ready made salsa
2 Tbsp
light sour cream
1/2 tsp
canola oil

onion, chopped
2 tsp
minced garlic
8 oz
ground turkey breast

plum tomato, diced
1/2 c
black beans, drained
1 tsp
ground cumin
1 tsp
chili powder
4 c
shredded romaine lettuce
1/2 c
reduced-fat, shredded mexican style cheese

How to Make The best healthy taco salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1In lg bowl, stir together salsa and sour cream, set aside. Heat oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook 2 mins.
  • 2Add ground turkey, cook until browned. Add tomatoes, beans, cumin, and chili powder. Cook 2 mins, stirring. Remove from heat. Stir in 2 tbsp salsa mix.
  • 3Add lettuce to remaining salsa mix, toss to coat. Divide lettuce between 2 plates. Top w/ turkey mix. Sprinkle w/ cheese.
