Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning, tony chachere's
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- MUSHROOM GRAVY
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
How To Make salisbury steak
-
Step 1Mix together the ground turkey, minced onion, bread crumbs, egg, onion, powder, garlic powder, italian seasoning, and cajun seasoning. Mix until well combined.
-
Step 2Preheat skillet, add the vegetable oil. Form meat mixture into oblong patties, add to pan, cook until browned. Remove from skillet, add sliced mushrooms until tender.
-
Step 3Add the 2 cans of mushroom soup, milk and water. Add the patties back to pan let simmer for at least 1 hour. The longer it cooks, the better it will be. I use my crock pot instead of a pan, and let simmer all day.
