This was something I played with for my Dad. He is a picky eater and favors BBQ sauce over ketchup. It's also a healthier, leaner alternative to a classic comfort food and an easy way to sneak in more veggies.

Ingredients
- 1.3 pounds ground turkey
- 1/8 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup carrot, shredded
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
How To Make bbq carrot turkey meatloaf

Step 1Mix the turkey, bread crumbs, egg, carrot, cheese, and half of the BBQ sauce in a mixing bowl.

Step 2Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to an 8x13 glass baking dish and spread evenly.

Step 3Spread remaining BBQ sauce on top.

Step 4Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Baking time may vary by oven.
