I love this casserole,so easy to make. You can even add some hot peppers if you like it real hot and spicy.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 pound ground turkey or lean ground beef
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon each, salt & pepper.
  • 2 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mexican-style cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make baked mexican-spaghetti casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook spaghetti as directed and drain. Return to pot. Heat oven to 425. Spray a 9" x 13" casserole dish w/ cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In bowl, beat milk and egg. Add to spaghetti and mix. Pour into casserole dish. In lg skillet, over medium heat, brown ground turkey, onion, green bell pepper and garlic. Add all seasonings, cook, stirring for 2 mins.
  • Step 3
    Stir in tomato sauce, cook 2 mins. Spread meat mix over spaghetti. Sprinkle w/ cheeses. Bake 10 mins, or until cheese is melted.
