This is Atkins-friendly. A friend copied this recipe out of a book and gave it to me. All I find from the page is that it's page 404 from a chapter named "condiments, seasonings and spices.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
How To Make taco seasoning

Step 1(Use 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper for a milder flavor.)

Step 2Combine all the ingredients, blending well. Store in an airtight container.

Step 3Use 2 tablespoons of this mixture to flavor 1 pound of ground beef, turkey or chicken.

Step 4Yield: About 8 tablespoons, or 4 batches worth. 2 tablespoons will add just under 2 grams of carbohydrates to a 4-ounce serving o taco meat.
