How to Make Vegetarian Salisbury Steak

  1. Combine quick oats, milk and egg. Allow to set a few minutes so oatmeal can absorb milk and egg.
  2. Next add vegetarian meat crumbles into mix. Stir add salt, pepper, garlic and onion. Mix.
  3. Form mix into six equal sized balls.
  4. Roll ball in flour coating well. Then flatten into patty. Add more flour if necessary. (This helps keep burger from crumbling!!)
  5. Place in frying pan over medium heat. Fry until golden brown. (Make sure when you flip burger there is enough oil. If there isn't, add more!) Place in dish.
  6. Follow directions on packets of brown gravy mix. Cover the patties well. Enjoy!
