Ingredients

12 oz
vegetarian meat (i use yves)
1 c
quick oats
3/4 c
milk
1 large
egg, beaten
1/4 c
onion finely diced
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1 tsp

2 pkg

How to Make Vegetarian Salisbury Steak

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine quick oats, milk and egg. Allow to set a few minutes so oatmeal can absorb milk and egg.
  • 2Next add vegetarian meat crumbles into mix. Stir add salt, pepper, garlic and onion. Mix.
  • 3Form mix into six equal sized balls.
  • 4Roll ball in flour coating well. Then flatten into patty. Add more flour if necessary. (This helps keep burger from crumbling!!)
  • 5Place in frying pan over medium heat. Fry until golden brown. (Make sure when you flip burger there is enough oil. If there isn't, add more!) Place in dish.
  • 6Follow directions on packets of brown gravy mix. Cover the patties well. Enjoy!
