Yuuummmm.....shrimp in a flavorful buttery garlic sauce. One of my husband's favorite meals. What could be better? It is perfect served over hot pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup olive oil, virgin
  • 1/4 cup butter, unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced, large
  • 1 milliliter red pepper, diced
  • 1 1/4 pounds shrimp, jumbo, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, black, fresh ground
  • 3 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped, garnish

How To Make shrimp in buttery garlic sauce

  • Oil and butter heating in a skillet.
    Step 1
    Heat the oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Garlic, red pepper, and shrimp added to butter/oil.
    Step 2
    Add the garlic, red pepper, and shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly until the shrimp turns pink.
  • Seasonings added to the skillet.
    Step 3
    Increase the heat to high and add the lemon juice, sherry, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Shrimp in Buttery Garlic Sauce over pasta.
    Step 4
    Bring to a boil and serve over hot pasta; garnish with parsley.
